Nowadays all the industries are going for automation and aiming at international standard quality control. Also, they intend to have a control over the price of the product. All these can be achieved only by the accurate monitoring, precise measurement, reducing the wastage. Here at this juncture, the instrumentation plays a vital role in the industry. Processes control and quality control and achievable by analog and digital measuring the techniques replacing the age old methods. The need for highly qualified technologies is increasing day by day. An engineering degree program to cater to the needs of the industry in these areas is the electronics & instrumentation engineering.

.                          Our college is offering this unique course. Specialization in many areas of the industrial process such as Mechatronics, Bio-medical instrumentation etc. is included in the curriculum. Our college is striving hard to achieve the high standard by exposing our students periodically to the industry. Certainly, this course comes to electronic concepts for measurements & control in industry and is a boon to the practical Engineers in the latest techniques.

The department well equipped laboratories namely Electrical Machines, control and instrumentation, Electrical workshop, Power Electronics & P.C. based systems and Microprocessor Laboratories. To add tot the facilities, the department has different types of D.C and A.C. Machines, loading facilities, high quality measuring instruments, Power electronics Kits, Software like MATLAB and Microprocessor study kits.
